LONG STORY, SHORT!

Neil and Amanda Anderson have been in the Middle East since 1992, having lived in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Dubai and now Ras al Khaimah.

Homely Petz originated in Dubai when Amanda began pet sitting as a side venture while working as a Veterinary Practice Manager at the Veterinary Hospital in Dubai. The demand grew, prompting the addition of various other services over time. Neil joined a couple of years later, transitioning from the corporate world back into Dog Training and handling. Prior to his corporate career, Neil served in the British Military as a dog trainer and handler.  After 11 years in Dubai, they decided to move to Ras al Khaimah to expand and embrace a more relaxed pace of life, encouraging others to cherish their dogs and explore the offerings of the UAE. Amanda has since achieved certification as a British-qualified Small Pet Hydrotherapist (ABC Awards Diploma Level 3).

The team has expanded to include their son, Scott, serving as a home-based dog trainer, along with a fantastic group of "Certified" Dog Handlers and kennel hands. Kirsty, our Administrative Coordinator, and another team member, Steve from the UK, take joy in facilitating the transportation of our four-legged

clients to and from the centre.

Our unique position is highlighted by the vast expanse of over 10 acres at our disposal. Nestled at the base of the Hajjar Mountains, we recently relocated to a new site, creatively repurposing (and still working on it) an old steel works. Our ongoing development benefits from ample usable space, ensuring continuous growth. Conveniently situated just off the E611 Motorway, we are easily accessible from any Emirate, eliminating the need to navigate through the city or large industrial areas. The majority of our staff reside on-site, and owners Neil and Amanda are only a 15-minute drive away.
