"Amanda came to our rescue, during a Christmas period, when the day before we were due to fly back home, our dog, Sheesha, got a terrible ear infection. I managed to get her to the vet but she needed ear drops and antibiotics to be administered for the next ten days. I was in a turmoil about leaving her here alone while we were away, even though my maid was going to feed her, she was not used to giving medications to animals. And that is where Homely Petz came to the rescue. They very willingly offered to take care of Sheesha without a moment's hesitation. We were able to go on holiday with a tranquil and peaceful mind knowing that our wonderful dog was being taken care of in Dubai. We recently moved to Dubai (end of October '08) and were planning on going home for Christmas. What we didn’t realise though, was that if you have animals and in our case, dogs, finding a kennel that has space is impossible! Most are booked up at least 6 months in advance. We were at the point of cancelling our trip, when a friend told us about Homely Petz.

Our dogs are not used to kennels, back home we were lucky enough to always have a house sitter, so the Homely Petz offering suited us down to the ground! From our first interaction with Amanda, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Homely Petz, they are professional, friendly and their passion for animals is clearly evident!

We have two Rottweilers and although they would lick you to death if they could, the breed isn’t always considered approachable. Amanda and Neil were absolutely fantastic with Xylia and Forest! Our dogs stay inside as they are very much apart of our family and another concern was that they would get stressed being alone. Well, when we arrived back, I think our dogs were disappointed that it wasn’t Amanda and Neil arriving for their morning walk!

Homely Petz visited twice a day, to feed, play and walk our two. The two of them still come running in bright and chipper in the morning for their walk and in the afternoon the toy gets brought to you for the game in the garden and they head for the drawer for their leads!

A very big thank you to the Homely Petz team for providing such an awesome service with a smile! Forest and Xylia do miss you! The other wonderful service is the delivery of our dog food, it makes life so much easier and is delivered within 24 hours!
