Our aim is to provide an individual service with high standards of care for your pets. To maintain these standards of care for all our clients, we operate under the following terms and conditions: Homely Petz will act as guardian during the Client’s absence and will take any action considered appropriate in order to protect and keep in good health the pet/s in our care. For the Pet Sitz service enough food for the whole period of care will be provided by the client. Additional food purchased by us will be payable by the client immediately on return. For the Walkeez service all dogs must have an ID tag on their collar and the client must provide a strong lead/leash and poop bags. Homely Petz walkers will not under any circumstances walk dogs in areas that are not allowed for dogs ie beach, parks etc.
All Clients will be responsible for any costs which might be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any sickness, accident or damage caused to or by their pet/s. Clients will be responsible for paying any such costs or expenses on demand. No liability will be attached to Homely Petz due to the unpredictable nature of the work.
(Homely Petz does respectfully ask that you leave your home in a tidy and clean condition for our pet carer to work in).
-CATS MUST BE SEEN A MINIMUM EVERY 24 HOURS AND DOGS AT LEAST TWICE A DAY. PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR LESS, AS WE DO NOT WISH TO OFFEND.
-HOMELY PETZ WILL ONLY LOOK AFTER CATS THAT ARE BEING KEPT INSIDE THE HOME, NO OUTSIDE CATS (THIS INCLUDES NOT ALLOWING CATS ON BALCONIES). THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
-THE CLIENT WILL CANCEL ALL MAID OR HOME HELP ENTERING THE HOME FOR THE DURATION OF ANY PET SIT.
- HOMELY PETZ REQUIRES THAT NOBODY WHATSOEVER IS TO ENTER THE HOME WHILST YOU ARE AWAY, THIS IS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR PET, HOME AND ENVIRONMENT. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE AND IF BREACHED WILL RESULT IN HOMELY PETZ NOT BEING ABLE TO DO FUTURE BOOKINGS WITH THE CLIENT
-THE WALKEEZ OR PET STOPZ SERVICE CANNOT BE USED AS A SUPPORT MECHANISM FOR A MAID/HOME HELP. WHILST THE CLIENT IS AWAY ON VACATION OR A BUSINESS TRIP, HOMELY PETZ DOES NOT WORK WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
CLIENT MUST PROVIDE 2 KEYS TO THE PROPERTY/APARTMENT OR JOIN THE READY KEYZ PROGRAMME. HOMELY PETZ CAN ARRANGE FOR A 2ND KEY CUT DURING THE SIT IF CLIENT WISHES (CHARGES APPLY)
-KEY COLLECTION AND PAYMENT MUST BE DONE BY A HOMELY PETZ CARER/REPRESENTATIVE, WE WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WORK WITH THIRD PARTIES WITH REGARDS TO THIS (IE SECURITY PERSONNEL/RECEPTION DESKS/MAID/FRIEND OR LEAVING UNDER DOORMAT ETC) - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE, YOU WILL NEED TO ALLOW TIME FOR THIS PROCESS TO TAKE PLACE (AT LEAST 12 HOURS PRIOR TO THE SERVICE BEING PROVIDED). ALL KEY COLLECTIONS MUST BE DONE BEFORE 6PM OTHERWISE A Dhs50 CHARGE WILL BE INCURRED, IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO BE A REGULAR CLIENT CONSIDER THE "READY KEYZ PROGRAMME," CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.
-WE WILL ENSURE ANY MESS BY YOUR PET IS CLEARED AND INDOOR PLANTS WATERED (COST INCURRED FOR MORE THAN 5 PLANTS).
-IF THE CLIENT LIVES IN AN APARTMENT BLOCK HE/SHE MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A PARKING SPACE (OR PAY FOR VALET PARKING) FOR THE PET CARER. HOMELY PETZ WILL DETERMINE IF PARKING IS EASILY AVAILABLE AND IF AN ACCESS/SECURITY CARD WILL BE REQUIRED TO AID PARKING. IF THE CLIENT CANNOT GUARANTEE A PARKING SPACE HOMELY PETZ HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY SERVICE REQUESTED.
All clients will complete a detailed booking form including information on:
Emergency contact details
whether or not pets are vaccinated
any insurance policy in place
microchip details
any medication required while the pet is in our care
feeding routines
medical history
Veterinary details/release
Passport copy is required.
All pets should have up to date treatment in place for fleas, worms and other parasites prior to commencement of the booking.
All home visit bookings require a deposit to confirm the booking. This deposit is equal to 50% or more of the total fee for bookings confirmed. All regular services such as dog walking, medication visits etc where the service is to be provided on an ongoing basis, are payable in full in advance on weekly/monthly subject to duration of service required.
The balance of any fees is payable directly to the Carer when the key is collected/booking commences.
Deposits are non-refundable, except where the booking is cancelled by Homely Petz.
We do realize sometimes things happen, and plans need to be changed. However, once we've blocked off time for your pet, chances are we may have had to turn away other clients. We try to be fair when it comes to cancelling.
Refunds for cancellations will be made under the following circumstances:
Cancel 3 weeks in advance of starting date—100%
Cancel 2 weeks in advance of starting date—75%
Cancel up to the 5 days before starting date—50%
Cancel on starting date—no refund
No refunds for “early returns” on vacation sits.
