We also reuse all plastic bags and whenever possible recycled bags and newspaper. Each of our pet carers carries a "Sit Pack" which includes non-toxic/natural cleaners for those "messy moments" in the home. We help you to help the environment"

Proactive Pet Sitters Association members are committed to the following agreements:

* We will do what we can to become more environmentally conscious
and institute environmentally friendly practices into our daily pet
sitting duties by reducing waste, pollutants and toxins, by
conserving natural resources, and by reusing materials where/
whenever possible.

* We will do what we can to support animal welfare organizations in
our community through raising shelter awareness, volunteering
our time, fundraising, etc.

* We will educate ourselves, and in turn our clients, friends and family
about responsible, caring and healthful pet guardianship.

* We will educate ourselves, and in turn other pet care providers in the
matter of responsible, loving and healthful pet care.

* We will support spay and neuter practices and promote adoption
over breeding.
