Whats in a Vacation Care "Sit?"

A visit can be once or twice a day, or even more if you feel it is necessary.
A sit can be for one day, a weekend, a week, a month - any number of days, you let
us know. We also provide care for Special Needs pets too. For extra long bookings,
payments can be made in two parts for budgeting purposes prior to service commencement.

Cats with Homely Petz
Minimum 1 visit per day (30-45 minutes), every day - cuddles, toy play and of course "lap time!"
Cats in our care will not be allowed access to outside or on balconies, we only look after indoor cats to ensure safety and monitoring of health and feeding.

Dogs with Homely Petz
Minimum 2 visits (each 30-45 minutes) per day (crated dogs minimum three times a day) - garden play/short walk (your dog must have the statutory Municipality Tag and ID on his collar before walks commence (available from vet clinics), rough and tumble, ball games etc.
All dogs are kept on their lead/leash for dog walking and will not be walked in restricted pet areas.

What is included:

Feeding - we stick to your pet's usual diet, no changes are necessary and change water bowls as necessary.

Cleaning feed areas and bowls and cleaning up any mess your pet makes.

Light grooming and brushing if necessary.

Observing their health and checking for abnormal signs - for veterinary attention, click here.

Administering of any medication (oral,topical, allergy vaccines, insulin injections).

Cleaning litter trays and poop in the garden and any accidents within the home.

Changing bird trays and providing toy stimulus.

Written daily record in your Pet Log of feeding/toilet/activities for you to read on your return.

Updates on your pet from the Homely Petz' PostCardz email service

Safety checks (ie closing curtains/lights on and off).

As a courtesy we will collect any papers/letters/junk mail from your front door/gate.

Convenient Online payment available with your credit card through Paypal.

Homely Petz requires where possible 2 keys to your property/apartment. We can provide the 2nd key cut during the sit or you provide both. Why do you need provide 2 keys? A spare key is required as an emergency back up and supports random quality control checks by our QC Manager on visits being carried out. Ready Keyz Programme.

So what next if I require the Pet Sitter service?

A Pet Consultation (Dhs100, Dhs150 if after 6pm and Fridays, AED200 if less than 24 hours before start date) is required prior to any pet sitting service, one of our Lead Pet Carers will come along to your home to meet your pet/s and go over and complete formalities with you, this will not necessarily be your pet carer, you will meet them a couple of days prior to your leaving for key collection and to go over the practical side of looking after your pet.
