Professional Pet Care Services
Dubai
If you have lost your pet, please do the following:
Inform all the veterinary clinics in your area, give them your pet's description, collar colour, name, microchip number and municipality tag number. Also give them your contact number.
Contact the Muncipality immediately and let them know you have lost your pet, do not under-estimate how helpful they can be, we have heard many a story of the municipality returning pets to their owners.
Contact K9 Friends, Feline Friends and Dubai Animal Rescue Centre giving details.
Make posters and pin them to trees, place on supermarket boards and in veterinary clinics, use the maid and gardener network to keep an eye out for you. Cats and dogs are both active more very early morning (5-6am) this is the quietest time for them to seek food and is cooler too, this is especially the case if your pet has been missing for more than 24 hours. Take a favourite noisy toy, rustle a treat bag or shake a food box, all these audible signs can help your pet pinpoint you if they are in hiding whilst you are out looking for them.
Send us a photo/poster with contact details of where your pet was lost and reward details too. We will post the details on both our Facebook and Twitter pages for you. Send details to community@homelypetz.com
FOUND PET?
Obviously ask around your neighbourhood if anyone knows the pet, check the maid/gardener network too.
Leave posters everywhere for the owner to find you.
Take the pet to your nearest vet clinic to have the pet scanned for a microchip (this is free of charge), once you have the microchip number call all the clinics to see if they have the pet registered with them.
Spread the word on local internet chat forums such as www.expatwoman.com and www.dubizzle.com, their internet visitor traffic is very high.
Send us a photo/poster and location where the pet was found, we will post to our now highly populated Facebook and Twitter pages. Send details to community@homelypetz.com
