Canine Trainer/Handler and Behaviourist (Certified)

We are seeking certified/experienced canine training and/or behaviour trainers. You must have a proven record of dog training either by Certification of course attendance or suitable references from a previous, well known training establishment.

The Homely Petz ethos on training dogs is through positive reinforcement using positive motivational techniques, we do not use fear, force, electric collars or other invasive methods to train dogs, if you use any of these methods to train dogs we do not wish to hear from you.

Pet Carers (Pet Sitter) - Dubai

Homely Petz, a leader in pet care services in the UAE is looking for recruits across Dubai to provide home pet care to domestic pets.

The role involves looking after pets in their home, you will be expected to care, love, play and spend time with domestic pets. The role includes walking dogs of which you will have a minimum of one regular dog walking client that requires daily dog walks weekdays, you must be a confident dog handler and have previous experience with dogs be it personal or professional. You must be level headed and communicative, work on your own initiative at times and being a team player is essential.

Our standards for Homely Petz services are very high, if you can answer yes to all the questions below, we would like to hear from you;

  Are you an experienced pet lover?
  Are you over 21 years of age?
  Do you have English as your first language and are Western educated?
  Can you give a pet plenty of loving care and attention?
  Do you have experience of working and/or living with domestic pets?
  Are you reliable, honest and a trustworthy person?
  Do you have your own transport?
  Are you computer literate and have access to the internet to communicate well?
  Are you prepared to work on occasional weekends/holiday periods and are not out of the country all summer (this is when we are at our busiest).
  Do you have a pleasant, cheerful personality with a friendly, approachable attitude?
  Can you provide 3 excellent, traceable local references?

Pet Carers will be security background checked. We will train you to our high standards including Pet First Aid and Basic Canine Behaviour. You must have trustworthiness, bags of common sense, ability to follow clients’ instructions to the letter. We will not consider applicants who are not available for at least 11 months of the year; we choose to provide consistency for our clients.

Please do not apply if you are not prepared to "pet care" on at least 2 Fridays in a month, are away the entire summer or have substantial family commitments already (ie lots of school runs, after school activities, young children with no maid support etc), you are in full time work already or have no car.
