Throughout Dubai and the surrounding Emirates, unwanted, abandoned and found cats are constantly being bought into Feline Friends. This non-profit organisation is run by volunteers who spend their time and resources trying to re-home (and neuter) the cats.

The Feline Friends 'cats on these pages are all looking for a new forever home, if you are interested in any of the cats, please call the Adoption Line - 050 394 35 25 or complete the online form quoting the cat/kitten's name and ID number.
Cat ID: 0001 - "Cookie" is about 2 years old and lives with 2 other cats and 2 dogs at her foster house. She is a bit nervous with new pets the first days but once settled she is a lovely cat- she loves being around humans and likes cuddles but not so much to be picked up, hence not suitable with young babies. She has been sterilised, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
Cat ID: 0002 - "Grace" is a very pretty fluffy (though not purebred) ginger and white young lady of about 9months. She was abandoned by her owners when the compound they lived in was demolished. She spent quite a few months living rough and, as a result, was very nervous and untrusting of humans when she was trapped. After spending time in a foster home she's now much happier and, when she's relaxed, is very playful with the other cats. She's still nervous of strangers and sudden movements, but when she trusts you is happy to sit and be stroked - and purr very loudly! She loves to spend time outdoors in the garden and would be a lovely pet for a family with older children, in a villa.
Cat ID: 0003 - "Miranda" and "Charlotte" are very special in that they were hand reared by bottle from only 2 days old. They have only ever known humans and were also very unusual in that they were an all girl litter. As they were all girls and all bottle fed, they have become especially gentle and placid and are very sweet but still playful. These two are also ready to be homed straight away, They do need to go together though as they are particularly attached to each other. Miranda and Charlotte are in great health and have recently been vet checked and micro chipped and have had their first vaccination.
Cat ID: 0004 - Whoever adopts little "Murphy" will be very lucky to have him. He is approximately 8 months old.
Cat ID: 0005 - "Midnight" is the most adorable and loving beautiful pure black cat. A very special nature – she just purrs and purrs and loves to cuddle! She is well mannered and very sweet. She currently lives with 4 other cats that she tolerates, but she gets a bit pushed around. She is good with other cats in general though and is not aggressive. A lovely girl who deserves a very loving home. She is 3 years old, sterilised and has had all her vaccinations.
Cat ID: 0006 - "Bella" is a lovely natured short-haired Tortoiseshell Persian (possibly cross) who arrived at Feline Friends extremely timid and wary of humans. After months with her current foster carers, she has gained confidence and has become very affectionate, relishing stroking and grooming. Bella even comes when 'meowed' to by her favoured fosterer and they smooch on the couch together most nights. She has been fostered with another female cat, where Bella was the submissive one and tended to be bullied around, so it is hard to judge whether she will again be submissive with other cats, however, she seems to have a passive nature. Bella enjoys playing, having a go at soccering anything at hand, but especially likes chasing balls around the house. By the end of May she will be fully vaccinated and spayed, and she is microchipped. Bella would make a great addition to any family.
Cat ID: 0007 - "Peanut" loves to play with his little toys and is about 8 months old. He throws them up in the air and catches them. He is well-behaved and doesn’t jump up on tables or countertops. He is mostly an inside cat (at least at his fosterer’s house) but loves to go out when given the chance. His foster family has small children that he pretty much stays away from.
Cat ID: 0008 - "Tusi" is a gorgeous grey Persian. He is approximately 10 months old and he was found abandoned in Deira. He was undernourished and neglected. He was obviously a pet as he is very friendly with people and is calm towards other cats. He has no desire to go outdoors much, he would be ideal for apartment living. He has been sterilised and has received the first lot of his vaccinations. He is now looking for a loving family who will give him the love and care that he needs.
Cat ID: 0009 - "Hi I am Otis, I am male, only 8 months old. I am very loving, love cuddles and being played with. I am very good looking !!!!!. I dont really like going outside so prefer to stay inside with you. I have all my vaccinations up to date and micro chipped. I go to my bed at night and sleep all night. I love food. I would love to come and stay with you."
Cat ID: 0010 - "Garlic" (with white tummy) in the photo are only 7 months old. The advantage of a slightly older one is they are fully vaccinated, micro chipped and sterilised already. These two are absolutely adorable - it is such a sad story behind them. They really deserve a great home. They must be homed together as they really love each other, they had a horrible start to life but have been with some fosterers since January and are incredibly friendly and sweet. They are very special in terms of their nature.
Cat ID: 0011 - "Dorothy" is like Princess Fiona (from Shrek for those not in the know); she isn’t perhaps the prettiest or slimmest of cats but she is a lady in everyway. She doesn’t jump on the furniture or on work surfaces but does like a cuddle once she’s gotten to know you a little, she also likes to have a bit of a chat now and then and loves to play with her toys. She doesn’t need to go out if she’s got company and is happy to sleep away the day in a comfortable spot. Dorothy doesn’t like other cats though, it’s possibly part of her Princess complex, she is happy in a house with adults and older children who can appreciate her need for some attention but on her terms. Because Dorothy does sometimes feel a little insecure it is best she goes to a home with an experienced cat owner who can read her moods and know when she wants to be left to play on her own or when she’s after some attention. Whoever takes Dorothy will have years of love and fun. She is approximately 2 years old and completely white with beautiful green eyes just like Princess Fiona. She has been sterilised, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
Cat ID: 0012 - "Ceasar" Here is a most adorable school cat that teachers and students found in the school grounds a few months ago. He has been spayed. The vet thinks he’s around 2-3 years old. He loves the students and enjoys being in the classroom with them. He is incredibly affectionate and loves his belly rubbed. He really does deserve a very special and loving home.
Cat ID: 0013 - "Arnie" is a 3.5 month old girlie, she’s had her first 2 Vaccinations and is micro chipped. She is adorable! She will be happy to keep you company around every corner of the house, very calm and gentle, and knows not to harm when she is playing. She will eat anything you put in front of her (although is not a big fan of cat food crackers). She loves to cuddle up and enjoys company. She will make sure to wake you every morning up on time in the funniest way possible!
Cat ID: 0014 - "Mira" is a very friendly, playful 1 year old that in lots of ways is more like a puppy! She's got bags of personality - is talkative, super-smart, full of energy and loves company - will follow you around to see what you're up to and be at the door when you get home. Her ideal home would be with someone who could spend time playing games with her and where she can run around outside and have adventures. Needs to be trained out of biting & scratching when playing - she can get over excited. (perhaps because she's been cooped up inside for a while now). Was abandoned at 3 weeks old and bottle fed, so is used to humans, and likes attention. After a good workout playing fetch she likes to cuddle up on your lap to snooze. She's a very entertaining companion. She has been sterilised, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
